  1. This Tom’s Hardware award is for publication, not the award for hardware from Mobile World Congress 2015, isn't it?
The best at MWC 2015 in hardware (best mobile handset & devices) are Apple, LG, Motorola & Microsoft.

  2. I have never understood how compressive sensing saves you power consumption when you do reconstruction on-chip or when you do it off-chip and have to "pay" for power in comms.

  3. Can anybody explain me what market this lensless technology is enabling when VGA resolution camera modules based on chinese image sensor companies like GalaxyCore, etc... are today priced below 0.2-0.3$US / camera unit????

  4. @Anon, this could be a major development for cheap thermal/infrared imaging.

  5. Yes, I agree a thermal/infrared imager could be cheap if ML and CFA are removed.
This case could be called "lensless and filterless" smart half-stuff.
